The first feuilleton I have to offer is La poma, la pera i la pruna (The Apple, the Pear, and the Plum): a charming fusion of the Snow Queen canon and one of my favourite anime, Haikara-san ga tooru, set against the backdrop of the late seventeenth or early eighteenth century.
The setting of this Catalan-language fic is far darker and more mature than that of the original fairy tale and far closer to that of the anime.
Intertextuality runs rampant as the most quick-witted readers may recognize a reference to The Wizard of Oz, The Odyssey, Faust, Shakespeare, folklore, classical myths, or real-life history.
OK, so all I have to do is make a wish for you readers: Bona lectura!
But first, here's the programme. The Stories are called Scenes, to keep with the baroque setting. And you can't attend the play without knowing who will act and how it will be divided:
