PART OF THAT WORLD

This review is brought to you by Ako Shirabe, Crown Princess of Majorland, masked freedom fighter, and utterly adorable little nerd ;)

MAHOU TSUKAI PRECURE - EPISODE 7 (SEAS)
My own review
PART OF THAT WORLD

H2-OH!

Isaac takes the whole class out to sea on his carpet.

Loretta does a perfect Ariel Flip.

Sexy mermaid teacher... <3 <3 <3

Welcome to the Mer Village.

Ha-chan dancing with a crab, learning to walk sideways.

The first lesson Loretta gives...

...in the Coral Auditory...

...is on the pitch of a good spellcaster's voice,
That makes the difference between a well-cast spell and a not-so-well-cast one.

Unfortunately, all five girls are tone deaf.

The Cures' and Friends' mission du jour was to make some oysters open.
Sounds easy breezy lemon-squeezy, right?
But it's actually quite complicated... Oysters don't like to be opened and resist by shutting themselves...
so what is the point?

LORETTA: Your voice is a tool for delivering your feelings to your opponents.

Practice, practice, sing from the heart... and the world will be your oyster.

To tell the three merls apart... Left to right: Dorothy: green, Nancy: blue. Sissi: pink.

The xenophobic, human-fearing adults in their community were skeptical towards our students... but children are always curious and open-minded.

And thus, these three bombarded the Wizarding students with questions.

SISSI: Can people from different worlds be friends?
RIKO: Yes indeed.
MIRAI: Of course.

SISSI (leading her friends into the cave-shrine of the Holy Oyster): This is the reason why we cannot leave this village!

Behold the Holy Oyster!
Actually yes, this is the sacred oyster of the merfolk, hence why it's that large and on an altar.
And, yes, the "pearl" within is the Linkle Sapphire.

There's an inscription on the altar, and Riko translates it:

RIKO: "When the hearts of merfolk shine, the bright mermaids will appear and lead us into the wide world."
A prophecy...

Centuries ago, the oyster was open and irradiated a cool blue light...

...which made it possible for merfolk to breathe air and to fly...

...and thus, to interact with humans and fairies on land.

Loretta is the leader and the teacher of the Mer Village.

In the end, the hearts of the merfolk do shine...

...and the oyster finally opens, to reveal the Linkle Sapphire within...

June followed the merls and the Cures to the local shrine. And she is awestruck.

June does something more that puts her on my hit list:
protecting Dorothy and Nancy from a desiral attack!

Finally, it's time for a heartfelt leave-taking!

The Linkle Sapphire.

The Cures' Sapphire Style mode.

Sapphire Smartish!

4 Linkles so far confirmed: Dia, Aqua, Ruby, and Sapphire.
Which means: eight more to go!

Aside from protecting children (always a plus), June did even more badass stuff today:
She stormed forth to save Mofurun when the bear dashed towards the Cures.

After the desiral knocked her unconscious, she had the resolve to awaken and stand up...

...to see the ray of energy from the Cures' Linkle Sapphrie transformation.
JUNE: Eh!? What ever happened!?

THEORY: June will become a Cure with the powers of the Linkle Sapphire. Which means the Ruby will go to Kay and the Topaz will go to Emily (by means of colour-coding).

From your left to your right: portrait of Sissi, portrait of Nancy, portrait of Dorothy,
Dorothy, Nancy, Sissi.

MY OWN HUMBLE OPINION:
June, you've upped the ante today. Not only did you step in to save three youngsters who cannot discern between their right hand and their left, but you also had the resolve to get back up again after being knocked out. <3 <3 <3 The world is truly your oyster...

IN THE NEXT EPISODE (8)

The class heads for Pegasus Pastures on a pegasus safari.

But that means they will have to save a white mare and her filly, at the end of the day...
